AthletiCo is the official provider of Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation and Performance coverage for the Illinois Youth Rugby Association. AthletiCo provides the following services to iYRA:
1. On-site injury care and evaluation as well as assistance on all matters pertaining to the health and well being of athletes.
2. The use of modalities as indicated by the Illinois Athletic Training Practice Act.
3. Maintenance of complete and accurate medical records of all athletic injuries and treatment rendered.
4. AthletiCo will educate the board members, coaches, players and parents of the Illinois Youth Rugby Association on the importance of medical care and follow-up necessity with an AthletiCo facility after injury.
5. Illinois Youth Rugby Association will have access to all AthletiCo centers for complimentary injury assessments. These players will be referred, if needed, to the appropriate physician based on location, insurance and specialty.
6. AthletiCo is designated as the exclusive provider of rehabilitation services.
The iRB is the governing body for rugby.
